Remove applications from a device

You can remove applications from a device using silent uninstall. Software removal is available only for applications that support silent uninstall. These applications are indicated by a check mark icon in the Silent Uninstall column of the application list.

This feature is only available for managed Windows devices with N-able N-central agents installed.

  1. Go to Views > All Devices and select the Network Devices tab.
  2. Select the device Name.
  3. Go to Tools > Applications.
  4. Click the check box beside each of the names of the applications that you want to remove.
  5. Click Request Uninstall and click OK.

The uninstall begins. If a reboot is required the device will appear to go offline.

If the Request Uninstall button is grayed out, the application does not support silent uninstall. In this case, the end user must complete the removal manually.
